My Journey

I realized, as a teenager, my desire to be a counselor so I could help people on their path through life. My eyes were opened to the innumerable pathways that people take through life as I listened to Love Line on the radio with my friends. We all share a core commonality but each choice, life circumstance and perception leads us on our own hike through life.

Building a trusting relationship with you and creating an environment that you can explore your hardships is paramount to me. Whether you are an individual or a couple, I strive to bring to light the problematic behaviors and thought patterns that interfere in your life, in order to help you make choices that promote a more congruent and authentic living experience. Theoretically, I am psychodynamically driven with strong ties to cognitive therapies, but use a variety of techniques to meet your needs. I believe that through awareness and true honesty of yourself, you can overcome barriers in your path. I have worked with clients on a variety of issues including; depression, anxiety, trauma, couple’s issues, men’s issues, self-esteem and sexual issues.
